Yeah.

Well.

Got shipped to the old house -> I was told it would be forwarded to my house -> The Monday before my Saturday prom I learned it was returned to New Jersey -> I refunded and reordered it because Shein is amazing and helped so much -> Got express shipping for only a $4 charge -> Was told that the dress would be delayed by three days.

I needed a new prom dress.

Day one: Monday went smoothly, as planned.

Day two: Tuesday, I did school for a half day. Went to the dentist appointment, got good food, visited Encore, a second hand prom dress shop, and then learned there was no pink dresses there except in size 22. Strike one. Went home, took care of baby, played Resident Evil Revelations.

Day three: Wednesday was crazy! I went to school long enough to participate in the Career Skills USA competition by being mock interviewed, then yeeted over to Canton. We had the appointment, then went get the TEMPS.

Unfortunately, we realized too late the actual re-take test was 20 more minutes away. We decided that since The Salvation Army was just up the rode we would stop there first, then take the test.

I found one non prom dress and got stuck in another dress and almost freaked out.

Then the Salvation Army ate us.

There were Cassettes, CDs, and VHS’s.

My wonderful Bernadette, my 2002 Acura, for some reason has a broken CD slot at the moment, so she can only play the radio or cassettes. Because I’m a vintage junkie I’ve been searching every store we go into for cassettes. I’ve found four.

However the VHS selection omggggg.

We ended up buying

  1. 3 Rescue Heroes

  2. 2 Little People

  3. The Animated The Crippled Lamb (only my FAVORITE book in the entire world)

  4. The Sound of Music

  5. And so many more!!

Like seriously, just look. I’ll do a break down of all my goodies later, but I also got this BOMB cassette-radio for $1.99!

And there was a whole adventure there so that, again, will be a different post.

After Salvation Army we got Chick-fil-a and then went to David’s Bridal to look for a prom dress. Not only did we find the PERFECT dress, IT WAS CHEAPER THAN WE THOUGHT.

Voici.

So that is where we end this post at 10:40pm while I wait for my mom to finish work so I can go home and go to bed.

The posts about Power of the Pen and Prom to follow!

Also, laugh at me please. I thought I was gonna hit 50k this week editing. How foolish was I.

Are you excited to see more about my crazy life? What was the most amazing thrift store thing you’ve ever found?
